1-hour tickets available as of today, July 1

As of today, July 1, „Rīgas satiksme” offers new time tickets, including 1-hour tickets for working days and holidays and 5x24 hours tickets to be used within 15 days. The new tickets are valid in trams, trolleybuses and buses. These tickets are available, at different tariffs, to holders of Riga resident’s card and also for passengers who use e-tickets.

Holders of Riga resident’s card can by 1-hour tickets for working days for EUR 1.15, working pensioners – for EUR 0.60, and students – for EUR 0.30, the price of 1-hour tickets for holidays will be EUR 0.60. Persons who haven’t a Riga resident’s card can buy 1-hour ticket for EUR 2.30 and load it onto an e-ticket. 5x24 hours tickets for all routes to be used within 15 days will cost holders of Riga resident’s card EUR 15.00, but others can buy them for EUR 25.00 and load onto blue e-tickets only.  

“Rīgas satiksme” reminds that passengers having bought a 1-hour ticket can make an unlimited number of trips with transfers within one hour. The last trip can be registered in the 59th minute of the ticket’s 1-hour validity period, after which the passenger can go to the route’s terminal regardless of the trip duration. The 5x24 hours ticket to be used within 15 days can be used in five days in a row or in any other sequence within 15 days. The ticket must be registered every time a passenger enters a public transport vehicle. It has to be taken into account that a ticket registered on the 15th day will expire at 23:59 of this day.
